  C. Chocolate Drop 'Volcano Queen' (guttata x aurantiaca)
This is a very popular hybrid registered in 1965. It took me a long time to realize why it is called "Chocolate Drop". If you look at the buds they look exactly like large drops of chocolate. The flowers are very waxy and fragrant. If you look closely at this old file picture you will the the chocolate colored buds and Tom holding a background for the picture. This is before we became sophisticated.  Plant is in a 4 inch pot, $25.

Slc. Vallezac 'Evelyn' (Lc. Golden Gate x Slc. Anzac)
This red/cerise cattleya is on a classic compact Cattleya plant.  Near blooming size plant in 4 inch pot, $25.

Rhyncolaeliocattleya Digbyana Helen (Rhyncolaelia digbyana x Cattleya tenebrosa 'Rainforest' FCC/AOS)
If this ain't the most confusing nomenclature I have ever seen!!! On top of that first it was Laelia tenebrosa, then it was Sophronits tenebrosa and now it is Cattleya tenebrosa, would someone please make up my mind. Aside from all this should be an interesting primary hybrid. Both parents are pictured at the left. Near blooming size plant in 5 inch pot, $30.
