Aerides Punchinello (Aer. odorata x Aer.
lawrenciae)
This hybrid will be very fragrant and bloom anytime from late spring
to early winter. Aer. odorata is widelly distributed through Southeast
Asia and is very temperature tolerant. Aer. lawrenciae has a narrow
distribution in the Philippines and is warm to hot growing. These plants

Coelogyne massangeana aka tormentosa
This temperature tolerant species is found in the mountainous regions
of Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, and Java in river valleys. The 20-30 flowers
on a bract are scented and are short lasting and delicate.on a terminal,
to more than 15" [37.5 cm] long, pendant, racemose inflorescence arising
with a new pseudobulb and leaf with a zig zag rachis and short bracts that
has from 20 to 30 flowers.
